I first learned of Sushi Fire a few years ago when they had a location in West Covina. When they closed that location, we started getting takeout at the Duarte location. Finally, on Valentine's Day my sweethearts and I dined in and it was the best experience. There was no wait and service was great. For starters we ordered the tempura avocado -perfect bite of crispy and soft and creamy avocado on the inside. For our rolls -Tataki the spicy tuna is amazing and so fresh - crispy garlic tuna has a bit of a spicy kick but tolerable and who doesn't love fried garlic slices? -Philly crunch roll because these are my favorite with rich creaminess of the cream cheese and avocado, a crunch of cucumber and a fresh piece of salmon sooo delicious. Our daughter got the teryaki chicken and they used chicken breast that was tasty and tender. She loved it and ate it all. We were recommended by Allen to try the Echigo Japanese beer which was light and tasty! Allen was very attentive and had the best hospitality with his guests. We will certainly be dinning in at Sushi Fire more often.
Sushi fire is exactly what I want it to be every time. The fish is fresh, affordable and the staff is very friendly.
A delicious and hidden gem for sure! I ordered takeout for my family online and our order was ready in 25 minutes. Walked inside and was greeted by the hostess who kindly asked for my name and gave me my food. Now for the best part! I ordered 2 hand rolls (tempura & spicy tuna) both were excellent. The Japanese lasagna roll was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The baked salmon roll was so good, the salmon had a melt in your mouth consistency. The shrimp lover roll was also good, it had a fresh taste to it. Overall the food was amazing and we will be back. Glad to have found this place as I'm a huge sushi fan.
Between quality and price, this place gets 5 stars. The two roll combo is definitely a steal for any 2 specialty rolls for $23.50. Fish quality and quantity is great and they don't try to just stuff you with tons of rice and tiny pieces of fish. Got the sashimi plate as well and for $30, I got 12 thick and fresh pieces of fish. Ordered off Postmates and everything arrived quickly.
Sushi here is SO GOOD and the service was great. Highly recommend the Sugar Roll. Their Groupon promo is a great deal as well.
This place is GREAT! First let me say it's really cute in here, second- the staff is so polite, so attentive and so welcoming. Lastly , but of course not least - the sushi rolls are soooo good , fresh, and a good price!!!! I'd definitely come back
